Who We Are

We first met as moderators for Twilight Moms’ book club, where our shared love of reading quickly turned into friendship and endless conversation about books. Later, we collaborated at Eve’s Fan Garden, working with authors and publishers to share amazing stories with readers far and wide. As our kids grew up a bit, we decided to dive back into the book world ourselves... this time by launching our own book club and podcast!

While our reading tastes span different genres, from cozy mysteries to sweeping fantasy, nonfiction to romance, we all share a love for a good story: the kind that sparks wonder, curiosity, and the urge to explore the places that shape the tale, or the food that fuels the journey.

Favorite genre to read: Monster Romance... the more unhinged the better!
Book you'll always recommend: So many books. The librarian in me has a hard time chooser (reader's advisory anyone?) but I've been recommending The Poppy Fields by Nikki Erlich A LOT lately. 
Perfect reading snack: Doritos. cheese dust and all.
Beach read or cozy cabin read: Cabin read!
A character you'd want to road trip with: Oskar from Tusk Love by Thea Guanzon... except we'd be road tripping on horses. 
A character you'd want to have dinner with: Merry & Pippin from Lord of the Rings. With an assist from Sam. 
Place you've visited because of a book: Chicago! I had been there before but Sara and I went for NCTE and got to meet Alex Meraz (from Twilight!)
Place you want to visit because of a book: New Zealand

Favorite genre to read: "women's" fiction, but I hate that descriptor- books where a woman's journey is a the center of the plot. There might be romance, but it's not the full focus. 
Book you'll always recommend: Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult
Perfect reading snack: Ice Cream
Beach read or cozy cabin read: Beach
A character you'd want to road trip with: Vanessa from Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid- she's a badass, an astronaut, and has a cool car. 
A character you'd want to have dinner with: Ruth Jefferson from Small Great Things. 
Place you've visited because of a book: So many! Savannah, Cape Cod, Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, Forks, Washington, Caribbean. 
Place you want to visit because of a book: I want to go back to Scotland and see the standing stonesw from Outlander. Also the Galapoagos Islands beacuse of Jodi Picoult's Wish You Were Here.
