Third Coast Book and Author Fest 2025

A chilly weekend in West Michigan saw over 100 authors distributed all over downtown  Grand Haven, Michigan signing books and greeting readers. Aptly named the Third Coast Author and Book Fest, this year’s inaugural event was a huge success! Being that it was held in my hometown, I had a front row seat! I was lucky enough to score a media pass and had the chance to meet a lof of great authors, some familiar and some new ones! 
The authors were all placed in various stores and places around downtown Grand Haven, the host The Book Cellar, an amazing used book store, had maps available and everything was very walkable. The best part was that the event was free! Stores and authors had their books available to buy and were happy to sign them and take a photo. In addition to the free event during the day, there was a VIP Event and Auction during the evening. For $50 you could rub elbows with authors all while raising money for Bluebird Cancer Retreats. 
I highly recommend this event to anyone but especially anyone in the midwest! It was so much fun and a great way to showcase authors of all different genres. I am already looking forward to next year!
